Lots of our website customer experience SPAM on the news posts and the pages that they create in their WordPress, Content Management System. This nuisance SPAM is annoying and can fill up your email box very quickly, you can always install the Akismet Plugin for WordPress and register for an API key this can then be added to the Setup to Fight SPAM automatically.
To begin visit the Akismet website

Choose Signup or Press the Next Button
If applicable click the Personal Sign-up Button.
Here you can choose to Donate to them or else just choose the “Use Akismet for FREE” option.
You will then be asked to create a user name and password, or depending on the way you visited the site you already may have provided that info, Next press the SHOW button beside the API Key.
You will be presented with your Akismet API KEY

The Akismet plugin comes pre-installed with your WordPress CMS and to add your API key to the Setup please visit Settings / Akismet and enter your API key and Press save.
You can now rest easy knowing that all the spam to your site is being removed.
